This morning I woke up and decided to start a new weekly tradition. I now declare every Friday morning's post 'Dessert of the Week'. This is mostly because I am finding so many fabulous cake recipes that I can't contain my enthusiasm and need to share them with someone because lord knows, I will never actually get around to baking them.
The first DOTW is my old favorite Red Velvet Cake, courtesy of Bon Appetit. Using blueberries and raspberries, it would be perfect with a gin cocktail on a summer night.
